We all know that the Voyager mission taught us a great deal about the solar system when Voyager 1 studied Jupiter and Saturn and Voyager 2 became the only probe ever to reach Neptune and/or Uranus. Something most people don't know is that when the Voyager mission was completed (late 1989), the Voyager Interstellar Mission began (January 1, 1990) and is still active today.
